A consultation on our proposed updated Rules closed on 1 December 2021. Details of the proposed changes are set out in the attached policy note. We considered responses and an updated version of the Rules was agreed by the SLCC Board in March 2022. That is published for information below.
However an implementation date has not been set for these changes as further amendments are now required to make them compliant with our new powers in relation to Alternative Business Structures, which commenced in December 2021.
Those proposed further technical changes can be seen in full tracked on the recently updated version of the Rules, and in a separate clean copy of proposed updated Rules.
