Our consultations

This consultation document sets out our draft operating plan and budget for the operational year 2025-2026.

At the end of June 2024 our current four-year strategy came to an end. Last year we extended this by one year, believing reform would then have been finalised. With the reform Bill delayed, and the outcome still far from certain, we are now proposing a two-year refreshed strategy.

The Scottish Legal Complaints Commission (SLCC) consults at the same time each year, as set by statute. No late responses will be considered by the Board. The deadline for responses is 12:00 noon on Thursday 13 March 2025. 

By law we must publish responses to the consultation by the end of March 2025.
